    ชาวลาวยังเคร่งครัดในวัฒนธรรมอันดีงามของการแต่งกาย โดยเฉพาะ. เมื่อจะเข้าไปในเขตวัดหรือสถานที่ราชการผู้หญิงลาวจะต้องนุ่งผ้าซิ่น ใส่เสื้อ. แบบสุภาพ ส่วนผู้ชายลาวก็ต้องนุ่งกางเกงขายาวเสื้อแบบสุภาพเช่นกัน.
